In June of 2010 I could barely sketch stick figures, so I started researching some videos on painting in Photoshop online, I had some experience editing things in Photoshop with a mouse, but a friend of mine with a degree in graphic design and a fair artist himself said to get a Wacom tablet, so I did and practiced with it for a while... Since I've only been at this for about 6-7 months as of January 2011, I'm not all the greatest, but I'll post some of the things I've done recently that I'm somewhat happy with.

Another new year... still trying to not suck. All my friends are married now and I'm not so I guess I'll be putting even more time into art than usual! Totally see light at the end of the tunnel! Not.

Been working pretty hard over the past year, seemed to have made a lot of progress. Here's hoping the same amount of progress comes this year... I'm really resisting as much as possible from doing anime... I know dA is like a breeding group for anime fans... but there's just too much anime out there, would rather avoid it.

Usually I don't have my top 10 littered so heavily with Oscar nominees, but I did appreciate many of the movies nominated this year.

3 127 Hours

6 The Fighter
7 Blue Valentine

9 Never Let Me Go
10 The King's Speech
The Social Network is obviously the big awards darling this year, but I gotta feel like for one - it's probably not the best David Fincher movie, could be argued Zodiac is just as good or a little better and Fight Club is amazing and neither movie got nominations... but it's still a good movie, I just felt that it was more well rounded than stand out
